Google wave nominations anyone?

YES YES YES!!! I finally got my google wave invite ahhh sorry i every doubted you google with this new found preview comes yes you guessed it Nominations

and here is how its going to go i have 5 google wave invites left post a comments below about why you should get a google nomination and what would you do with this new found power once you had it. The one with the best answer gets a invite

Oooh, I’ve always wanted new found power

I would use it to collaborate with other teachers about how to use technology in the classroom and how to teach art to students who are not interested and not motivated (it’s art appreciation and most of my students did not want to take the course). I would also use it with the art teacher across town. Eventually, when it is in wider release, I hope to use it with homebound students so they can keep up with what is happening in the classroom.

Google Wave will be a nice tool for the team work i have to do with my coworkers & help me communicate with my foreign friends. There are lots of programming projects I have to do (computer science study), and it’s really difficult to find the latest code. With Google Wave, this could be solved.

I have been trying to get an invite for a while now. I applied to google the moment I saw the video on the official website! Since I’m a tech-geek by nature and I professionally travel the world for hi-tech business&gadgets, I always need to be in touch with separate worlds! I run my business mostly via email/online communication! I also talk to my friends and start new threads and email chains just so I can keep up with everything going on back home!
So if you crown me with a Google Wave I’ll be able to connect to the people in my life easier and organize my communication a lot more efficiently,

I am a IT Admin that shares my knowledge and love of programming and computer with kids. I would use this account to teach my Boy Scouts the cutting edge of collaboration and blogging technology. By giving me an invite you would be helping to teach kids. I would of course pay it forward by sharing my invites as well.

I have 5 other full time staff and 25 student staff I work closely with at Memorial University of Newfoundland (www.mun.ca) and Google Wave would help a lot with working on projects and documentation. Also I would like to try out some of the RPG’s I hear are on there.

I have also never really helped out with reporting bugs for something like this, that might be a interesting experience.

I want to make my friends jealous.

I acually am looking to try this out for online RPG use. my friends and I are spread out over multiple states and it makes it very difficult to get together to game.

I lost my hands in a tragic strawberry picking incident so cant physically wave any more.. :*(

Its tedious work typing with my nose, but at least i would be able to wave at my friends again…
