Why im leaving xbox behind and moving towards gaming pc

Xbox how i loved you so….
Throughout the years from around 2005 till present i have been actively playing my xbox like it was going out of style. from Ghost Recon tournaments to late night splintercell matches screaming in fear as i hid in the attic as a spy. Me and my xbox are finally getting to the point where i have to bid adue. I know alot of my friends are just as shocked as i as when i finally found no more interest in xbox and im going to explain exactly why i decided to leave the good ole’ faithful behind.
I can remember all those years when xbox360 first came out and the lines of people at compusa in midtown Manhattan lining up to play the latest game on the console which at that time was king kong.
It was never before seen individual hairs for the ape swaying the 3d space it was revolutionary ..for it’s time. Now however 5 years later it’s far from the greatest gaming experience your can get and xbox has no plans on renewing there xbox for what is said to be another 5 years. The only thing that seems to keep me somewhat tied to this console is the curiosity of what natal might be about and what it could offer. But natal alone wont keep me from enjoying what seems to be a better gaming environment. The reason im leaving are all the reasons that xbox seems to fail in and here are just a few. Before going off in a rant let me just state that everyone is different everyone has there own genre of gameplay that they love some people enjoy flight sims so they tend to buy games like tom clancy’s hawk some people are into first person shooters ect.
What i seem to enjoy the most out of everything is Open world Sandbox games one good example is grand theft auto you could find me waisting countless hours roaming the free mode on that game talking as much trash to as many people as i could before calling my day a success and retreating to my bed for slumber of epic proportions. It was open world which means you had a huge map to explore with friends using vehicles ect there was no linear aspect to the game you could do what ever you wanted and that alone grabbed me. But here lays the issue theres only 16 players max that could be in the room and a 4 person cap on vehicles. This always made me a little irritated but i got use to it and accepted it …..key word here accept i no longer want to accept these types of limitations now that i know that xbox could do much more.
Due to a close friend my eyes where opened up to the fullest when my friend asked me to try out a game called arma 2 this massive open world game combined two things i loved the most sand box and first person shooters.
It sent me into a fit of rage all these years faithful to the xbox name and there where games out there with over a 200+ player cap with massive maps far greater then anything on xbox or ps3 to date with dynamic ranges,vehicles,weapons and AI and it wasn’t just one game that had these types of specs on the computer it seemed that if you had a decent gaming rig you were privileged to better looking and cheaper games new games like battlefield badcompany 2 is currently 46.99$ it was released yesterday not only that the player cap is 32 as apposed to 16. which means you get to see more action, even ps3 has a game that has 256 playing in one match! what is going on xbox!?!?!?!?
I feel in my eyes the xbox360 console is dead and i probably wont return to the console world knowing that i could get better games on the pc and i know what everyone is thinking what about the community. Its the one thing everyone falls on when i start to tear the foundation of the xbox apart the community is just as good on the pc as on the xbox everyone talks there are chat systems and if your moving into the pc gaming world from xbox all those peripherals you spent on your xbox works with the pc. the controller plugs in so that you can play games on the pc as if you where on xbox even the wireless products like the wireless mic and controller will work with your pc via a dongle you buy
price,quality, environment everything i would want to pay 50$ a year for is on the pc for free. and All the games are community driven, what does that mean? That means you will always have free dlc from the developers,you will have new vehicles and weapons that improve the game made by the community and over all you get more bang for the cheaper buck on the computer as oppose to the xbox. This is a wake up call to everyone why are you paying 50$ for a premium service just to see geico commercials on the dashboard!! why!! why are you paying 50$ just to not be able to play battlefield 1943,badcompany,ect because the servers are down.. i have yet to be lagged out a pc server .. and contrary to popular belief there are not alot of modders on the pc versions of the game seeing as its easier to torrent and play games on the pc the companies are more diligent with keeping up on updates and thwarting our fellow brethren.
Pc gaming is something new to me and already im taken over with joy i will be sure to update this rant and let everyone see how moving to the pc is beneficial with video and hi rez pictures
Game Difficulties…

So here we go, ranting time.
I have came to the concrete conclusion that video game companies lack the ability to create an enjoyable gaming experience for player who want to play on a higher difficulty than “Normal”. Here is why:
Take Alien vs Predator for instance (the game I am currently into), I am playing through on the Predator campaign on Hard. Normal difficulty of course is a cake walk, with virtually no challenging parts, with the exception of boss fights and some puzzle solving. I completed without dieing for the most part.
Now lets take Hard difficulty for instance.
*Thinking to self, Do-de-do I’m an invisible Predator sitting in this tree 50 feet off the ground cloaked there is no way this marine is going to see me while I’m not moving and invisible*

*Marine walks under me, starts to walk past me with his back turned, I’m thinking sweet I’m going to get him, then Marine suddenly swings around “I FOUND HIM IN THE TREE!”*
Ok what the fuck, maybe he can...
*A true WTF moment pulses through my head, as the Marine spins around and beast shots me out of the tree with 5 bullets from his 99 round magazine*
*I think to myself, OK maybe it was a bug or something… And then it happened, again… and again…. and again. By this point I still stuck on the first enemy of the level wondering “OK Seriously WHAT THE FUCK?”*
So herein lies the problem with today’s video games, instead of making an enjoyable difficult game, it feels like a chore to simply beat 1 level before ripping out you hair in frustration. What should be done on higher difficulties is make the AI more intelligent, not give them screen cheating so they can see my invisible, in the dark, in a tree, across the map. It is just stupid. I can understand giving them some more damage for there gun, but now days the jump from difficulty levels is insane. It goes from the game being mind-numbingly easy on Normal, to “THIS IS FUCKING STUPID! As you slam your Keyboard/Controller on the ground in anger” on Harder difficulties.
In conclusion if a game developer is reading this, please rethink your ideas for gaming difficulties, because this is getting to become plain out stupid.
It is getting to the point were, most players cheat or abuse an exploit just to beat a game on Hard, or higher difficulties, just so they can beat it. I know this isn’t what game companies had in mind, when players were cheating just to beat their game. I mean I can cite 5 games off the top my head that are like this: Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: WaW, Halo 2 Legendary (Yeah fuck that), Halo Wars Legendary, and AvP Nightmare Difficulty (one death and you start the level over, think Halo 2 Legendary with Iron Skull). Notice a trend? Yeah it is the same damn companies that do it every damn time.
So don’t get me wrong here, I love ALL these games, especially AvP with a passion. But I mean really, It took me under one day to beat all the campaigns on AvP on Normal. And, it was FUN, I enjoyed playing them. And, I still go back and play them for fun. But, it took me an HOUR to beat ONE level on Hard, I haven’t even tried Nightmare yet. It is repeatedly “Trail & Error” it is stupid, I don’t get why companies do that, why make a game so HARD that when you try to beat it on a tougher difficulty you want to throw your game out the window.
So here I am dragging this on, I’m done for now.

Theres a new space in home and it’s called “locoroco island “. Based off the much loved playstation potable game locoroco, you now have the ability to bring your playstation character into the vibrant world of loco roco

With tons of mini games and events happening in this little tropical world, It seems to be a pleasant addition to the Playstation home space line up.
There is a point system in this space that matches alot of the other spaces in home, where you play games to get points or dance for one of the little locoroco characters to get even more points. At the end of the day you can take your points to the store located in the middle of the island to redeem cool clothes ect for your avatar. I am truly a fan of the locoroco series and it’s fun to hear these little squishy balls sing in unison.

Here is an example of one of the games located in the far end of the island. Theres also a new apartment called *drumroll please * LOCOROCO ISLAND except there is a twist! when you collect Pickories you can cash them in to unlock more places and gimmicks in your locoroco apt it looks amazing so much so i can see myself buying one (video at the end of the article).
also going on in home is a huge battle going down this Saturday 8pm pacific time where theres a battle between androids seen here

Google Skynet building there roots?

I’ts official google is building skynet and i have figured out there plans!!!
And after discovering there devious plans i ask myself is it really that bad? there forcing competition and competitive prices where there isn’t any there latest plot to take over the world is an experiment given to the community that nominates there city the most .
Google is planning to launch an experiment that they hope will make Internet access better and faster for everyone. They plan to test ultra-high speed broadband networks in one or more trial locations across the country. There networks will deliver Internet speeds more than 100 times faster than what most Americans have access to today, over 1 gigabit per second, fiber-to-the-home connections. They’ll offer service at a competitive price to at least 50,000 and potentially up to 500,000 people.

Ipad is it really worth it?

The new ipad is stirring up quite the buzz but is it even worth $499? from what the videos have shown its seems to have the same functionality as an iphone or ipod touch ..ooooOOoo you can import apps >.>…..really heres the statement that had me laughing ”this is not a netbook (macbook air) then going on to say its more powerful then a phone less powerful then a macbook …. being that its currently 2010 i would at least expect a frontward facing camera. i mean >.> its not like its out of our reach as far as technology goes. Here is another question why did apple decided to make there own processor ?? when the new i7 mobile is out is this to cut down the cost? In all im far from impressed with the ipad and being that there is no cd port this is nothing more then a glorified netbook. If apple was more open like google with there sdk’s then i would hold better promise for the ipad but since owning a iphone it has taught me that apple are nazis. But time will only tell i would rather have an open source pad that i can do much more with then a limited one . the keyboard seems nice and it would be perfect for hospitals ,schools ect but the first thing that comes to my mind is what else could i make this do? im looking forward to harddrive hacks and possibly an add on for a front faceing camera. what about augmentation being that its in early stages augmentation in my opinion would fit well with this ipad. but untill it hits a 200$ price range i don’t see myself looking towards this device anytime soon would love to get my hands on this and see what it has to offer or is this a laggy iphone reminiscent device. I would hope not.

It’s 2010 yes its twenty ten people and this clock is not going back any faster so im working on a new layout for the entire site yes there are still going to be issues 
im still learning leave me alone but hopefully it will get alot easier for your to navigate the site without any problems hardly i hope everyone will like it and that it helps you navigate the site alot more easier this is going to be a long year process so by the end of this year you should beable to see where i am trying to take this thanks again everyone for all the support
