I remember when news slipped about Live Space what an exciting idea which seemed to already be 98% polished and complete and ready for the market. Then there was news of a company called OnLive using similar technology, running high end graphics via the high end server then streaming the content to your handheld or pc. With this method they too are able to run games that would other wise require high end hardware.
Everything would run server side, no need for high end hardware they said and when looking at the information that slipped for live space tech crunch also discovered the company backing live space was Otoy. Two years ago if you looked at the site it was just being built now you can see that they’ve been developing the backing end for this exciting technology all along.

Altho it’s exciting to know you no longer need to have the latest gpu to enjoy good games, i feel that bus speed will always be faster. No matter what they say lag will be inherent and if not i would be very curious as to how they got over this historical hurtle. Otoy’s proposition is exciting but i doubt it will kill the already too popular xbox as i said before and what i will say again only time will tell but what’s good news for all you mac fanboys out there you can now game your little heart out without having to use some third party application and if anything this is a windows killer now that there is a nice fast easy way to play games in the browser i dont think anyone will be interested in windows anymore when there are far more exciting operation systems out there like linux. you heard it here first

Mag beta on it’s Way

The American Beta for mag( Massive action game ) will be going live later this month for the ps3 network and if you want in your going to have to sell your soul to the Qore mag for ps3 thats right you have to subscribe to a yrs worth of Qore in order to that golden beta code for mag
What seems to Quickly becoming a console seller Mag promises alot of much needed items, Like the ability to freely add and change weapon load ie sniper with a rocket launcher and lag free 256 player action mortar strike,para jumps this game wont be out till 1.26.10 but we will be waiting in anticipation for the final release .
No more HuLu for Ps3 owners ……..

A report from joysiq.com confirms that HuLu has shut it’s doors to Playstation owners link here to original article research done by joystiq.com confirms that changing the user’s browser sting to match the consoles reveals Hulu is targeting ps3 specifically
I believe this is all in preparation for Hulu desktop and one step closer to Hulu being a paid service . I personally i believe this is a big mistake what is hulu doing that youtube.com or any torrent site isn’t doing already? There are tons of internet streaming sites that are free and making hulu paid will not accomplish anything , everyone will just mozzy on over to another free site forgetting hulu ever existed much like what is happening to Piratebay.

The Growth of Sony's PSN
- Sony Playstation * 364 new games are coming out this year, Advent Children bundles on sale today. For the PS2 there will be over 100 new games.
- Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves * Online multiplayer will be going live tonight on the PSN.

- MAG (massive action game) * 256 players this Fall 2009 will have beta its free to play you’re playing a shadow war and there is an underlying story to MAG. You will be able to fight for your respected group that you will be able to pick at the beginning of the game there are currently 3 fractions you can level up your character and learn new abilities. You will also be able to create a new character along the way.

- City of Final Fantasy * Will be for the PSP.
- Assassins Creed: Blood Line *Will be for the PSP and it will also interact with Assassins Creed 2 for PS3.
- PSP Go * A new PSP has been announced and it will be available to buy October 1, 2009. Being out this fall it will have 16 gigs of internal flash memory. Integrated Bluetooth and wifi, new app for the pc called Media Go. The Playstation store will not only be available for the new PSP go it will be available for all other previous PSP models.

- Final Fantasy 14 Online * This is going to be a PSN EXCLUSIVE little is shown about this game but it sent shock waves across the crowed when it was announced.
- New motion control for PS3 *Theres’ a sphere on a cylinder that glows to track your movements. They showed how you can add a racket and/or use it like a bow and arrow. Sort of like what Wii was doing with their new motion control add-on.
- Modnation Racers *From the people that brought you Little Big Planet comes Modnation Racers living by the creed “play, create, share.” This new racing game allows you to customize your munny like character you can also customize your car there is even a system called “Track Studios” that allow you to add tracks and manipulate the background with trees, houses, lakes, mountains, etc, etc. The racing game is more like Mario Kart with the ability to pick up weapons like rockets, etc, etc. When you’re done you can upload your character, car and or track to share with others.
- The Last Guardian * The high def trailer looks amazing, yet little is known but only that there is a boy and this half dog half bird guardian and they travel along together. It’s a lot like Ecco the way it seems.
- Grand Turismo 5 *Looks beautiful.
- God of War 3 * The last in the franchise this game is the end all to be all game, it is really going to be a block buster with new moves and the ability to rip guts out of a minotaur. You will have so much fun with this title. The game will be out March 2010.
